Pri svojem raziskovalnem delu se ukvarja z analizami tveganja, simulacijami prometa, porabe energije v prometu, prezračevanja in požarov v cestnih predorih itd … Sodeloval je pri izdelavi številnih študij in recenzijah analiz tveganja.
