INTERNATIONAL HACKATHON
International Hackathon 2026

Following the successful Student Hackathon in 2025, Slovenian Logistic Association is upgrading the event in 2026 and opening the door to international cooperation. The International Hackathon aims to connect students of logistics, transport, IT, engineering, and related fields, bringing them closer to the real-world challenges faced by the modern logistics industry.

The Hackathon will take place from 8 to 10 April 2026 as part of the Logistics Congress – the central regional event in the fields of logistics, transport, and industry. The final day, including the presentation of solutions, will be held on Friday, 10 April 2026, in the Adria Hall. The working language of the Hackathon is English.

Over three days, students will work under the mentorship of experienced professionals from industry and academia to:

  • identify a challenge,
  • define the core problem,
  • develop innovative and feasible solutions.

The final projects will be presented to a professional audience on the closing day of the Congress, providing students with direct contact with decision-makers and potential employers in the sector.

The event promotes knowledge transfer between educational institutions and companies while strengthening cooperation between young talents and industry. For many years, the Slovene Logistics Association has actively supported young professionals through its scholarship programme, and the Hackathon represents an important step toward the long-term development of logistics talent.

  • Up to two students per faculty, higher education institution, or college may participate.

Z več kot 15-letnimi izkušnjami je prof. dr.   • Blaž Luin je rojen 1981 v Ljubljani. Diplomiral je leta 2005 na Fakulteti za Elektrotehniko v Ljubljani, na smeri Avtomatika – Kibernetika v medicini. Od leta 2007 je zaposlen kot na najbolj dislocirani fakulteti Univerze v Ljubljani, na Fakulteti za pomorstvo in promet, kjer je leta 2012 zagovarjal doktorsko delo z naslovom Optimizacija postopkov upravljanja cestnih predorov. V sklopu izdelave doktorske naloge in projekta, ki sta ga financirala ARRS in DARS je izdelal jedro simulatorja predora Šentvid, ki je namenjen usposabljanju operaterjev predora. Trenutno je docent na UL FPP. Pri svojem raziskovalnem delu se ukvarja z analizami tveganja, simulacijami prometa, porabe energije v prometu, prezračevanja in požarov v cestnih predorih itd … Sodeloval je pri izdelavi številnih študij in recenzijah analiz tveganja.
