Kolja Štemberger is a logistics manager with over 25 years of experience in international logistics and maritime transport. He is the CEO of Milšped Slovenia and a member of the management board of Milšped Italy. He has led key projects in global logistics companies, specialising in the development of maritime solutions, process optimisation, and the strategic management of changes in regional logistics flows.

Z več kot 15-letnimi izkušnjami je prof. dr. Od leta 2007 je zaposlen kot na najbolj dislocirani fakulteti Univerze v Ljubljani, na Fakulteti za pomorstvo in promet, kjer je leta 2012 zagovarjal doktorsko delo z naslovom Optimizacija postopkov upravljanja cestnih predorov. V sklopu izdelave doktorske naloge in projekta, ki sta ga financirala ARRS in DARS je izdelal jedro simulatorja predora Šentvid, ki je namenjen usposabljanju operaterjev predora. Trenutno je docent na UL FPP. Pri svojem raziskovalnem delu se ukvarja z analizami tveganja, simulacijami prometa, porabe energije v prometu, prezračevanja in požarov v cestnih predorih itd … Sodeloval je pri izdelavi številnih študij in recenzijah analiz tveganja.
