This year, we are taking networking one step further with a dedicated B2B Matchmaking experience designed to connect the right partners.
Through the platform, you can arrange pre-scheduled 1:1 meetings with relevant business partners on 10 April and connect with other participants throughout the Congress for meaningful discussions and new business opportunities.

How Does B2B Matchmaking Work?

On Friday, 10 April, structured on-site B2B matchmaking sessions will take place during the Congress.

The format includes:

  • Structured yet natural 1:1 meetings
  • Meaningful connections across different industries
  • Continuation of conversations in an open networking environment
  • Foundations for future projects and partnerships

This fast and focused format allows participants to efficiently explore new partnerships, projects, and business opportunities.

Open Networking Area at SLZ stand

After the structured matchmaking sessions, participants are invited to continue their conversations in the Open Networking Area at the SLZ stand.

The Slovenian Logistics Association (SLZ) welcomes all participants to the stand, which will remain open for networking throughout the event. 

It is a place where attendees can meet informally, exchange ideas, and connect with other professionals from the logistics and supply chain community.

How to Network – Step-by-Step Guide

To participate in the B2B matchmaking sessions, please follow these steps:

1. Log in to your profile
Access the networking platform and open your profile page.

2. Confirm your participation
Click: 👉 “Yes, I will participate in the B2B meetings.”
Only participants who confirm participation will be visible in the matchmaking section.

3. Complete your profile
Update your profile with all required information about your company and activities.

4. Select your areas of interest
This helps the system recommend relevant meeting partners.

5. Browse participants
Go to: Matchmaking → Participants list
Here you can explore other participants and identify potential partners.

How to Search for Relevant Contacts

You can filter participants based on:

  • Industry
  • Area of Interests
  • Position level
  • Country
  • Company name or participant name

Adding a profile picture will also help other participants recognize and connect with you.

💡 Tip: A well-completed profile significantly improves the quality of your meeting recommendations.

How to Request a Meeting

Once you activate B2B meetings in your profile:

  • Open the “Matchmaking” tab
  • Go to the Participants list
  • Select the participant you would like to meet
  • Click the icon “Schedule a meeting”
  • Select your preferred time slot, location
  • Add description
  • Send the request

✅ When the other participant accepts, the system will automatically assign a meeting table and time slot.

You have 48 hours to confirm the meeting request. After that the meeting request will be automatically declined by admin to spare time for potential meetings

Where Can I See My Meeting Schedule?
  • Click on “My meetings” to access your personal B2B meetings schedule

🔔 We recommend checking your agenda regularly for updates and confirmed meetings.

Managing Your Availability

If you are unavailable during a certain time slot, you can block the slot in the system to prevent meeting requests during that time.

This helps you manage your schedule and focus on the most relevant meetings.

Od leta 2007 je zaposlen kot na najbolj dislocirani fakulteti Univerze v Ljubljani, na Fakulteti za pomorstvo in promet, kjer je leta 2012 zagovarjal doktorsko delo z naslovom Optimizacija postopkov upravljanja cestnih predorov. V sklopu izdelave doktorske naloge in projekta, ki sta ga financirala ARRS in DARS je izdelal jedro simulatorja predora Šentvid, ki je namenjen usposabljanju operaterjev predora. Trenutno je docent na UL FPP. Pri svojem raziskovalnem delu se ukvarja z analizami tveganja, simulacijami prometa, porabe energije v prometu, prezračevanja in požarov v cestnih predorih itd … Sodeloval je pri izdelavi številnih študij in recenzijah analiz tveganja.
